Romeo and Juliet: Who's to Blame?

Now I know that I haven't done a R & J related topic in, let's say, a week or so, but I thought I entertain some people with my opinions! They always get things going!

This short little blurb was created for school, and school only, but now I want to share it with the world! That was cheesy, but yeah. It's not great, because I had to shorten it, and you will find run on things, but try not to bash me too bad.

ROMEO AND JULIET: WHO'S TO BLAME?
In William Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet, I think that Romeo is to blame for the young lovers' deaths.
There are many reasons why Romeo is to blame for both his, and Juliet's death. One of them is when he fought Tybalt. That is where he started the whole mess. Romeo: "Now, Tybalt, take the villain back again, that late thou gavest me; for Mercutio's soul is but a little way above our heads, staying for thine to keep him company: Either thou, or I, or both, must go with him." (3.1.129)... "[They fight; TYBALT falls.]" Romeo fights Tybalt because Tybalt fought Mercutio and killed him. Romeo is avenging Mercutio's killer. This is the dreadful turn-around in the story that threatens Romeo and Juliet's love.
I also think Romeo is to blame for their deaths because he killed himself, and if he wouldn't have, Juliet would have awoken to find him alive, not dead, and she wouldn't have killed herself, with an end result of them both alive, not dead. Romeo: "Here's to my love! [Drinks.] O true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die. [Falls.]" (5.3.130) Here, Romeo kills himself because he sees Juliet [supposedly] dead, and he cannot live without her love. Juliet waks up to find him dead, and since she cannot live without his love, she kills herself with a knife. The end result is both of the lovers lying on the ground over each other.
Romeo is to be blamed for the killing of both he and Juliet, because he made all of the enormous mistakes, that became life threatening mistakes, that overall sealed their fate.
Just to let everyone know, there are many people, things, to choose from for the list of Who is to Blame so, don't hate me for saying Romeo is to blame. That's just my thoughts for ya!
Thanks!

first of all, in your secod paragraphy, roman did not know if juliet was just sleep... what he heard is what he belive and there were nothing he could`ve done but kill himself and be with his love... firar lawerance didnot give the letter to romeo so romeo had no clude about his plan....i thought i needed to say that because i personally think frair larwernc and juliet parents are the blame for this whole incident.

Who not to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet!!

Romeo and Juliet is a true story about two young teenage that were deeply in love. but their love was cross star becuas of what familes they came from.. back in the day and maybe still today, poor people and rich people does not get along meaning in marrying. rich people want to keep the masion growning so they do not want poor people interferring with their children. this is the same reason romeo and juliet love was incomplete. the capulet and montague are two social group that does not get along. the capulet is the upper class and the montague is the lower class. juliet is an capulet and romeo is an montague.their love for each other was so strong that not even a sneak can come between them.but the only thing that might stop their love is by death as they said in their wedding vow "til death due us apart" so there is no body to really blame for their death. the others characters such as friar lawerence, nurse and paris do have something to do with R&J but are partly not responsible for their deaths.most people are blaming this on Friar Lawerence for sometype of reasons but they are getting the whole scene twisted.. Friar was just trying to help juliet from being hurt. there was no other options he could have think of except faking her juliet. he was not also responsible for romeo not recieving the letter. romeo did not recieve the letter be the messenger did not give it to him also because of the diease that were spreading. friar lawerence is innocent of the crime...the nurse is also not gulity because she was also trying to help those two lovers. she was scared that she might get killed if the caoulet find out that she was behond all this thats why she kept their marriage and the whole plan a secret....

there are more characters not should not be held responsilbe for the death of Romeo and Juliet...

Romeo is to blame, but so is Juliet, the Friar, the Capulets, the Montagues and everyone that was involved with the couple. This is because everyone in the play made mistakes that eventually led to the death of the "star-cross'd lovers." Including Juliet drinking the potion, Friar not letting Romeo know, Romeo for killing himself, Capultes for pressuring Juliet to marry Paris and so on... Im fine with you dissagreeing, but this is my opinion.
